My Skincare Routine
I’m often asked about my own skincare routine, so here’s a little look at what I actually use each day.
For a long time, I was a Balance girl through and through, using our Balance Facial Oil and Night Repair Balm religiously. But recently, I’ve noticed that my skin is responding better to our Menopause range, so that’s what I mostly reach for now. I always start the day with a cleanse. Our skin continues to work overnight, repairing itself and releasing oils and toxins, so it’s important to gently remove all of that in the morning. I use our Balance Cleansing Oil on dry skin, massaging it in slowly, then removing it with a warm, damp bamboo cotton cloth.
Next, I spritz with our Prebiotic Facial Mist to give my skin a hydrating boost. While my skin is still damp, I apply a few drops of Menopause Facial Oil — just two or three is enough — and take the time to gently massage it in. This little ritual sets me up for the day, and I always finish with SPF to protect my skin.
In the evening, I reach for our Rejuvenate Cleansing Balm. It feels like a deeper cleanse and leaves my skin soft and nourished. Again, I apply it to dry skin and remove with a warm cloth. Personally, I rarely need to double cleanse even if I’ve been wearing make-up.
At night, I love using the Menopause Facial Mist, which contains calming lavender flower water, perfect for winding down. I then apply a small amount of our Menopause Face Balm to damp skin, and if I feel I need extra nourishment, I might press in a drop or two of Menopause Facial Oil to areas with fine lines. It contains Bakuchiol, known as nature’s retinol, which makes it ideal for targeting signs of ageing.
Sometimes I’ll switch things up and use our Rejuvenate Face Balm instead, especially if my skin’s been exposed to harsh weather or just needs some extra TLC. And the very last thing I do? A sweep of Calm Lip Balm, and then I’m ready for sleep.
Nourishing Self-Care just for you…
